BLOG | Sharing Site For Entrepreneurship Teachers

October 31, 2016

In college I had a friend who was studying to be a teacher.  Her professers taught her this little jingle, "Plagiarize, plagiarize, let noone's work evade your eyes."  It felt kind of funny to have your teachers telling you to copy from others, but their meaning was not to cheat at school, but once you were a teacher go out and find best practices and work other teachers had done before you and use that in your own classroom.

Lorinda Forrest is a Deputy Sector Navigator in entrepreneurship for the California Community Colleges Chancelor's Office.  Basically it is her job to make sure that teachers at Community Colleges in her district are using best practices to teach Entrepreneurship.  So she asked us to bid on, and then gave us the contract for building a new web site that would allow users to share curriculum related to entrepreneurship.  I have not talked about this amazing website yet because it was and still is invitation only.

But we just shot a how to video for the site, grin.  Now I can show it off!
