The student run Computer Science Club at MJC along with the professors are going to be holding their first annual hackathon on December 3, 2016. They invited Nate Bunney of Inventaweb to take part in the planning of the event. Nate has planned six successful hackathon events, making him the local expert in the topic. We are all very excited about this event and what will come of it. Part of the purpose for the event is preparing for the third annual Valley Hackathon, a 24 hour event with large prizes held in Modesto on January 20 and 21, 2017. This is exciting as it will bring more students to this headline event.
